With a proven track record, Mike is a distinguished business leader who has successfully implemented transformative initiatives at some of the world’s most recognisable companies. As former Vice President of DEI at Informa Markets, he led a global strategy that integrated DEI inclusive principles into many facets of the business, from recruitment and retention to customer engagement and community involvement. His achievements were regularly featured in industry publications, where he built a reputation for introducing groundbreaking initiatives.

Mike’s passion for DEI is deeply rooted in his own lived experiences, driving his commitment to creating a more equitable and inclusive world. His strategic approach, coupled with his ability to build strong relationships, has consistently delivered exceptional results. He candidly shares his work and social experiences to raise awareness of diversity and inclusion issues while empowering others to build confidence, freedom, and motivation.

Mike has held senior leadership roles at Hewlett Packard, Microsoft, and the BBC, where he has established and managed successful businesses. His expertise is also recognised in the broader DEI community. He served as Chair of the AEO Diversity and Inclusion Working Group and a member of the D&I Working Group at The Conference Board.

Beyond his corporate roles, Mike is a dedicated coach, mentor and public speaker. He frequently shares his insights and experiences at events and discussion panels, inspiring others to embrace DEI principles. His podcast, “Diversity Matters,” provides a platform for open dialogue on critical DEI issues, helping to drive positive change. He is a recognised thought leader in diversity, equity and inclusion. Mike is also an author, having written and published his first book, LEADERSHIP IN ACTION: 50 Hacks to Unlock Potential, Resolve Conflicts and Drive Change to Become an Inclusive Leader.
